My Endless Summer

With the sand between my toes, sea by my side and warmth in the air - this past week has definitely felt like an endless summer.
On the last Thursday morning of June, at the crack of dawn, my family and I boarded an aeroplane to Cairns, for what is to be the last ever family holiday we'll take while we are all still living under the same roof.
Now the last family holiday we took was probably 7 years ago - so this one is making up for all the lost ones. It was an action packed, foodies heaven, insane holiday and I cannot complain one bit.
We stayed in Trinity Beach, which is about a 20 minute drive north of Cairns, at Beachfront Apartments. It's a mini paradise, with its swaying palm trees and lustfully blue water.
There are so many activities to choose from around the area. You can stand up paddle board. Ride the Skyrail above the rainforest. Visit the butterfly sanctuary. Kitesurf. There are day tours to the reef to snorkel and dive. The Botanical Gardens. You can take a bush walk.
It was the best holiday and withdrawals began before we even left!
THANK YOU CAIRNS!
