Copenhagen, Denmark

Copenhagen - the city of the friendliest and most attractive people in the world, in the Scandinavian country of Denmark.
Don't let the talk of high prices or freezing temperatures scare you away from visiting this city, because that's not what it's all about. There's definitely more to it.
Even if it's the only Scandinavian adventure you embark on in life or the start of your many to come, it's a delightful and unforgettable one.

Firstly, Shall we start with the lack of tourists (or Australians for this matter), which if you're travelling through Europe in the summer, or even winter, you will more than likely feel as though you're in Australia. Which for the most part isn't bad, until you remember you left said country to meet people from other parts of the world. Not Australia.

Secondly, every single person in this city is obnoxiously good looking. I'm talking everyone. And tall. And somehow quite sun kissed for the beginning of Spring.

Thirdly, the kindness will kill you. They may be slightly more reserved than others (or just Australians and Americans), but they are so nice and genuinely enjoy a good conversation.

I fell madly, and unexpectedly, in love with this city and it's people. Thank you, Copenhagen.

  1. Nice post! I've been to Oslo and Stockholm, and yes the prices did drive me to never want to return to Scandinavia. If I hadn't been fed by family friends, I would still be somewhere on a park bench right now. Copenhagen looks beautiful though :)
