4 days into our Contiki tour we stayed in the French Riviera in a seaside town called Antibes. Half an hour on the train and you find yourself in the darling, insanely popular and stunning Nice. Conveniently, we befriended a Frenchman on the train who then showed us the way to the beach and later met up with up for lunch and a locals view of the town.
I spent my morning laying in the sun on the pebbled beach and cooling off in the Mediterranean.
Being so close to Italy, Nice is a nice mixture of the two cultures. Italian looking streets on one side, French style buildings on the other. And of course a divine mix of foods.
i will be going in april! YAY!
